Iraqi manufactured Al Kadesiah sniper rifle. This rifle is similar to the Russian SVD but features a stamped steel receiver. No parts are interchangable with the SVD.

The Al Kadesiah is chambered in 7.62x54r

This rifle is not a Dragunov SVD. It is an Iraqi Al Kadesiah in 7.62x54R and is a hybrid of sorts between the Romanian PSL and SVD.

Iraq has its own weapon manufacturing industry and produces interesting arms, some based on Yugoslavian designs.

According to an article by David Fortier, none of these parts interchange with the Russian SVD, not even the magazines.
